Saibal Chatterjee, a reviewer at NDTV, gave the movie “Ganapath” a low rating of 1.5 out of 5 stars. He criticized the film, describing it as shallow and not very clever. According to him, the story was weak, and the movie attempted to improve it with dull and overused methods, but these attempts were ineffective.
Bhavna Agarwal, a reviewer from India Today, also rated the movie with 1.5 out of 5 stars. She observed that “Ganapath” didn’t show any improvement as the story unfolded. If you were hoping for things to get better in the second half, she suggested that it was not the case, and disappointment might be in store.
Shubhra Gupta, a reviewer from The Indian Express, rated the movie very poorly, giving it just 1 out of 5 stars. She was surprised by how bad the film was, finding hardly any redeeming qualities during its nearly two and a half hours of runtime.
Swetha Ramakrishnan, a reviewer from OTT Play, also gave the movie a low rating of 1.5 out of 5 stars. She described “Ganapath” as an outdated Hindi film that appears unsure about its own identity.
