In a heartbreaking turn of events, the film industry mourns the loss of a true visionary, Dhirajlal Nanji Shah, the owner of Apna Cinema and Time Video. His brother, Hasmukh, confirmed that Dhirajlal had been undergoing treatment at a Mumbai hospital, as reported by TOI.

“He contracted Covid, and subsequently, faced complications with his lungs. Over the last 20 days, his health declined, leading us to admit him to the ICU. Unfortunately, his kidney and heart were affected, culminating in multi-organ failure,” stated Hasmukh, as quoted in the report
